Disney is a destination you either love or hate! It can be quite overwhelming but it's so much fun! For me, it's about being a kid again! There is something about the magic of going! It's a destination, I think everyone should experience in their lifetime!
Walt Disney World consists of four parks: Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood studios. My favorites are Epcot and Animal Kingdom, and this varies my traveler and their likes. I think it all depends on your interest and age going!
Personally, I loved experiencing the international food festival at Epcot and eating and drinking around the world. My teen also enjoyed but we are foodies! I would go back each and every year for this experience! It was just fun! And the rides are too! The small plates and drinks are not too expensive if you want to share and sample from around the world!
I hear many say they are bored with Animal Kingdom, but we loved it! It's got great rides, food, and we enjoyed seeing the animals! It's an amusement park and zoo in one! My daughter is a teen but still says AK is a fave! She loves animals and would go back in a heartbeat! The safari, avatar, and roller coaster were our favorite rides our last visit!
Magic Kingdom is probably the busiest park, but it's a must see! Especially the firework show! Our last trip was so incredibly busy, but we enjoyed our time in the park. Tron is a must ride and so intense! We both loved the Mine Coaster! You have to watch a parade and try those cheeseburger spring rolls everyone raves about!
Hollywood Studios is definitely a teen pleaser or for those with older children! You must ride the Rock N Roll Coaster! Gosh, it's excellent! We were so exhausted our last trip with this park on the last day, so I'd make it a first day park next go around!
Character and specialty dining is always highly sought after! Most with young children, want at least one character dining experience. We loved our dinner at Ohana and one of the best meals we had during our stay at Disney! Some of my photos from the meal turned out blurry but this gives you a good idea! The food is to die for and well worth the cost.
Often times, I'm asked about staying on property vs outside. Every time, I'm going to say to stay on property at a value resort. Not only do you get free parking at the resort, you get transportation to the parks, early park entry, and all the amenities of the resort. For time's sake and budget, I think this is the best option. Our last trip, we stayed at Pop Century and loved it! We ate breakfast here each morning! Pizza in the evening was a great and a cheap dinner!
Disney Springs can fill a day or an evening and no cost to venture here! Transportation is included with your stay at a Disney Property. I highly recommend The Boat House! Those filet sliders are the bomb!
When booking Disney, there are so many options! I recommend booking with someone you trust! All travel agents have access to the same prices, but some are experts in Disney knowledge. From my experience, you will never do everything on just one single trip to Disney! Book with who is going to answer all of your questions, guide you throughout the process, and provide knowledge to make your trip as great as possible! I'd love to be considered! If you book with me, I have a Disney guide I provide that is an added bonus! I also have some money saving tips to provide from my first hand knowledge!
